Who We Are

Krytan's Model Metrics and Estimation, LLC is a specialized parametric estimation consulting firm focused on developing and applying transparent quantitative cost and schedule models for complex aerospace programs.

Our team brings more than 75 years of combined professional experience in parametric cost estimation and aerospace acquisition. Team members have performed work for organizations including Blue Origin, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin, NASA, and SOCOM. This reflects individual professional backgrounds and is not presented as KMME corporate past performance.

📐

Parametric Modeling

We build and validate statistical cost estimation relationships (CERs) grounded in historical data and engineering rigor.

🛰️

Aerospace Expertise

Deep domain knowledge spanning satellite systems, launch vehicles, and ground systems across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.

🛡️

Defensible Estimates

Our estimates are documented, traceable, and structured to withstand independent review by government customers and auditors.

💡

Credible Estimates from Concepts

We develop defensible, data-driven estimates starting at the earliest concept phases, giving programs a solid cost foundation from day one.

📝

Proposal Evaluation

We evaluate proposals for completeness, realism, and defensibility so decisions can be made with greater confidence.

🎓

Training

We offer hands-on training in parametric estimation methods, tools, and best practices to build in-house capability on your team.

We are developing a commercially derived cost-intelligence platform intended to support:

Planned Platform Capabilities

  • Analysis across multiple program and product levels
    • From component-level estimates through system-level estimates
  • Organize historical data to derive estimating factors and support model calibration
  • Integrate results with commercial pricing software, including ProPricer
  • Should-cost analysis
  • Cost-risk and uncertainty ranges
  • Schedule evaluation and risk assessment
  • Technology trade-off analysis
  • Design-to-unit production cost (DTUPC) analysis
  • Value-engineering support
  • Budget development from limited data, including equipment-list data
  • Cost analysis to inform design decisions
  • Subcontractor cost evaluation
  • Operations and maintenance (O&M) / operations and support (O&S) cost analysis
  • Engineering change proposals (ECPs) and cost-to-complete (CTC) estimates
  • Hardware and software cost analysis
  • Government hardware data sheets
